Platinum winning artist and Salam Charity ambassador Maher Zain visited the Rohingya Camps in Cox Bazar to learn more about the plight of the Rohingya refugees and distribute aid. The visit was coordinated by Turkish Red Crescent who are working with Salam Charity on several projects in Bangladesh. “It’s one thing to see the plight of the Rohingya refugees on our TV screens but it’s a completely different experience visiting them in person. I was left speechless. It is our moral and civic duty to help them. Actually, we’re not helping them, we are serving them,” commented Maher Zain.
