Salam Charity ambassador Harris J visited Pakistan on a week-long humanitarian trip where he met Pakistan’s cricketing legend Shahid Afridi. Harris J spent half a day with Shahid Afridi learning more about his life and charitable work. Harris also visited one of the schools managed by the Shahid Afridi Foundation and witnessed first hand the impact of the work. “I was truly humbled to see the excellent work undertaken by the Shahid Afridi Foundation and am motivated to help establish more quality schools. I was honoured to meet the legendary Shahid Afridi and believe that the work his foundation is doing will change the face of Pakistan. Education is the passport for the future,” said Harris J. Salam Charity have launched a three-month campaign to raise awareness and funds for schools in Pakistan. The campaign will include two charity dinners in the UK with Hamza Ali Abbasi in May 2018 and two Eid events in the UK with Shahid in July 2018.
