Turkey & Syria Earthquake Appeal

A terrifying earthquake hit Syria and Turkey in the early hours of the morning of 16th February causing untold death and destruction. The death toll stands at 57,300 and thousands more injured. We were on the ground within 48 hours to provide much needed aid to those who lost everything to the earthquake.

Our Work

At Salam Charity, we do things diﬀerently. We don’t just tell you half the story; we take you deep into the heart of the plot and show you exactly how your support has made a diﬀerence.

It is only through transparency and openness that will allow you to put your faith in us to deliver aid where it is needed the most, that’s why we have taken hundreds of people to the source of the hardship to hand deliver aid to some of the most vulnerable countries in the world. Volunteers are able to see exactly how their hard-earned donations are being spent and oﬀer a lifeline to those living below the international poverty line.

Community Iftars

Salam Charity is implementing community iftars that cater to over 100 people in four diﬀerent countries:

Yemen,, Affghaniisttan,, Pakiisttan,, and Uganda.. The meall prroviided supports each person with a nutritious meal. In addition, people will be served collectively to ensure social cohesion and a nice time spent over iftar.

We are also able to provide a video of your name and a dua at the iftar given by our partners and team on the ground.

Family Sponsorship

We are seeking to provide cash assistance to as many families as possible. £160 per month (£1,920 per year), allows the family the agency to support their needs. The family sponsorship program is active in both Lebanon and Pakistan. In Lebanon, this service is provided to the Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian refugee families.

Food Packs

food packs are provided in several countries, including but not limited to:

Lebanon, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Sierra Leonne, and Afghanistan. £60 gifts a family with two packs that will provide them with food security for a month.

Widow Sponsorship

Our widow sponsorship program is a newly established program in Pakistan. It is a monthly food pack sponsorship that is provided to a widow for a year. £30 per month (£360 per year) provides a widow with food security.

Orphan Sponsorship

We are seeking to provide cash assistance to as many orphans as possible. £55 per month (£660 per year), allows the orphans’ guardians the agency to support the needs of the orphan.

The orrphan sponsorrshiip prrogrram iis acttiive iin botth Lebanon and Pakistan. In Lebanon, this service is provided to the Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian refugee orphans.

Eid Gifts

£15 provides a child with a new set of clothes, a new pair of shoes and a toy for Eid. This program is running in Lebanon, Pakistan, and Uganda.
