In their words

What it is really like.

Uganda deployment · 2025£5,000 felt impossible. I had never fundraised in my life.Handing a food parcel to a mother my fundraising paid for: I cannot describe it. I would do it again tomorrow.
Lebanon deployment · 2025I thought I was going to help them. They gave me more than I gave them. The team never left our side; it felt like travelling with family.
Bangladesh deployment · 2024My whole community got behind me.The mosque, my colleagues, my aunties. Seven strangers went out. Seven friends came back.
Jordan deployment · 2025I was nervous about travelling somewhere I had only seen on the news.By day two I was carrying boxes and laughing in the van with people I had met 24 hours earlier.
