Mount Toubkal Trek (5 days)

Join us for a five-day adventure where you’ll trek through sun and snow alike, witness breath-taking views, explore remote mountainous villages, wander through stunning souks and conquer the tallest peak in North Africa

Standing at 4,167m tall, the summit of Mount Toubkal is the perfect trek for anyone, whether you’re kick-starting your mountaineering adventures or looking to cross an iconic peak off your wish-list. You’ll trek your way through the stunning Atlas Mountains, explore the mystic, mountainous village of Sidi Chamharouch and the picturesque town of Imlil, nestled in a green valley at the foot of Toubkal, and even have the opportunity to experience the bustling city of Marrakech.

Mount Toubkal Trek Itinerary

  • 4th June — Arrive in Morocco and check in to your hotel. Meet the group, relax, and prepare for the adventure ahead.
  • 5th June — Travel to Imlil, the gateway to the Atlas Mountains. Begin your trek towards the refuge with experienced guides. Overnight stay at the refuge.
  • 6th June — Early morning summit attempt of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), the highest peak in North Africa. Take in the incredible views before beginning your descent. Overnight stay at the refuge.
  • 7th June — Complete the descent back to Imlil and transfer to your hotel. Time to rest and recover after an unforgettable challenge.
  • 8th June — Free day to explore, relax, or enjoy local culture.
  • 9th June — Travel back to the UK.

How to book & what’s included

To book your place, you will need to pay a registration fee of £349 for your trip, and then start raising funds for our projects in Syria. You will need to raise a minimum of £600 two weeks before the trip.

From the moment you sign up, Salam Charity will provide dedicated support every step of the journey. We’ll set up your fundraising pages, offer expert support and advice for your training, and our staff will be with you during the entire trip, so you’ll always have someone on-hand to help.

Your accommodation, in-country travel, hotel breakfast, all meals during trekking days, water, professional guides and support will all be included.

You must book your own flights. They are not included in the registration fee.
